O.R.S Original Hydration tablets may be given to children under 3, provided it is under the guidance / supervision / recommendation of a healthcare professional such as a nurse, pharmacist or doctor.

Paediatrician-recommended, gluten-free hydration in child-friendly strawberry flavour.

Can be used by kids and adults of all ages, however for children under 3 years of age, the dosage should be 10ml per kg of bodyweight and given in small sips. We recommend using ORS under the recommendation of a doctor or pharmacist for children under 3.

What is the difference between the O.R.S sport electrolyte tablets and the regular ORS hydration electrolyte tables?
Dear Em, O.R.S Sport has added Vitamin D & Magnesium. Vitamin D Helps with the maintenance of normal muscle function – both muscle contraction and repair. This is particularly of benefit to those who often train inside or during the winter months. Magnesium Contributes to normal muscle function, alleviates sore muscles and reduces tiredness and fatigue. Please note that dosage for our sport formula is tablet in 500 ml. I hope this helps. I’m working hard in hot environment Is it ok to use?
Dear Faslu, Yes, O.R.S is much recommended to take especially during high temperatures. When you sweat, you lose fluid and electrolytes, such as sodium, potassium and magnesium. These electrolytes are what help your body to regulate fluids and when they are lost, you will become dehydrated. O.R.S helps you to maintain the right lever of electrolytes in your body. hi. can you confirm the recommended daily dose please. is it a total of two tablets or 2 tablets each time you exercise. i ask as i exercise 2-3 times a day and used to hydrate with water.

Are these suitable for breastfeeding women?
Dear Claire, Thank you for your interest in ORS Hydration tablets. As long as you have no intestinal obstruction or problems with your liver or kidney function taking ORS tablets should cause no problem, however, we always recommend contacting your doctor or pharmacist before use. Directions for use as follows, Add 1-2 tablets to 500ml of drinking water and allow to dissolve completely (stir if required).Do not store prepared O.R.S solution for more than 8 hours outside of a refrigerator. If refrigerated the solution may be stored for up to 24 hours. Taking more than the recommended daily intake may be harmful.
